Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the TradeLink platform (“Platform”), operated by TradeLink (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

TradeLink is an introductory service that connects customers seeking tradework with independent tradespeople. We are not a party to any agreement between customers and tradespeople. We do not employ, endorse, or guarantee any tradesperson listed on our Platform.

While we take steps to verify tradespeople's identities and qualifications, we cannot guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by tradespeople. Customers should conduct their own due diligence, including requesting references, proof of insurance, and relevant certifications.

Customers can submit job requests without creating an account. By submitting a job request, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are at least 18 years old.

By creating a tradesperson account, you agree that:

• All information in your profile is accurate and up to date.
• You hold the necessary qualifications, certifications, and insurance for your trade.
• You will respond to matched job requests promptly and professionally.
• You will not misrepresent your skills, experience, or availability.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

We reserve the right to verify your identity and qualifications, and to suspend or remove your account if we find that you have provided false information or acted unprofessionally.

You must not use the Platform to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
• Use automated tools to scrape content or submit bulk requests.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
• Upload content that is illegal, offensive, or harmful.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.

All content on the Platform (including design, code, text, and graphics) is owned by TradeLink or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

By uploading content (such as profile images or gallery photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of providing our service.

Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or that violate these terms. We do not edit or modify the content of reviews.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including (without limitation) loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Any disputes arising between customers and tradespeople are between those parties. We are not responsible for resolving such disputes, although we may assist with mediation at our discretion.

We aim to keep the Platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
